Guy Confession: I Fouled Up My Final Exam!

I'm not the greatest test-taker, so I was already nervous walking into my final algebra exam. Part of the reason I get distracted in math class is because my crush, Alexis, sits right in front of me and I'm always trying to strike up conversation with her instead of listen to the teacher. During our exam, there was definitely no talking allowed so I tried to concentrate on the questions, but the room was so quiet that when I let out a fart, everyone turned around! But my face turned bright red when Alexis turned and giggled. I don't know if I passed that exam or not, but I hope I don't have any classes with Alexis next year! —Derick

A Gooey Ride I was so excited when my brother got his driver's license, because I knew I would get to ride in the car with him and his cool buds. One afternoon, him and his friends picked me up from school and I hopped in the front seat. I noticed Jeremy was sitting behind me and I've always had a secret older crush on him! But it didn't take long for me to ruin the ride when I threw my gum out the window and it flew right back into Jeremy's face! I turned around to see him picking the sticky bubble goo off his forehead. I slouched down in my seat and could see my brother smirking. From then on, Jeremy made sure not to sit behind me in the car! —Maya Pop! Goes the pimple... Lately, my skin has been flaring up but for the most part, the zits go away pretty quickly. But the other night, just before I was about to leave for a movie night at a friend's house, I noticed a big pimple on the lower part of my cheek. As my mom was honking the car horn in the driveway, I quickly put some makeup over it and ran out the door. I wasn't too concerned because it was just going to be the girls watching a flick. But when I got to the house, some of the guys showed up for the movie, too, and all I could think about was how my zit looked! When Zach sat next to me on the couch, he was looking at me funny and said, "Oh Kate, I think you have some popcorn on your cheek," and tried to brush it off with his finger. But the minute he applied pressure to my face, the zit popped! I ran into the bathroom and stayed there for a half hour before emerging. My best bud, Lisa, was signing Jake's yearbook, who happened to be my crush the entire school year. When I asked Jake if he wanted to trade books and sign each other's, he gave me a funny look and showed me his yearbook. I saw a note that read, "Dear Jake, you have the cutest tush!
